Cancer is a disease created by man

Researchers at the University of Manchester, UK, have concluded that cancer is a disease created by the purely modern man.

In France 149,000 people, including 85,000 men and 63,000 women die from cancer per year, 411 people die every day.

These are cancers of the breast and prostate deadliest. Each year about 350,000 detecting new cancers in France.

In Canada, cancer is the leading cause of death and is responsible for about 30% of all deaths.

In the UK alone, cancer kills more than 150 000 lives each year. Statistics also show that nearly one in three people in the UK is likely to have cancer.

Researchers have spent considerable time studying the mummies, fossils and classical literature before coming to their conclusion.

The researchers said that cancer is a disease artificially fueled by the excesses of modern life.

Indeed , tumors were rare until recent times when pollution and poor diet became a problem.

In the study of Egyptian mummies , for example , researchers found no sign of cancer in many of them , except an isolated case .

Locks of hair and tissue from hundreds of Egyptian mummies were rehydrated and placed under the microscope. The researchers found a single case of cancer among examined mummies.

In the past, some researchers have argued that the ancient Egyptians did not live long enough to develop cancer. To avoid this weak argument , the researchers noted that other diseases associated with age , such as hardening of the arteries and brittle bones , existed at that time .

"In industrialized societies, cancer is the second cause of death after cardiovascular diseases.

But in ancient times, cancer was extremely rare. There is nothing in the natural environment that can cause cancer. This should be a man's disease, due to pollution and changes to our diet and lifestyle.

The important thing about our study is that it gives a historical perspective to this disease.

We can make very clear statements on the cancer rates in societies because we have a complete overview.

We reviewed thousands of years, not one hundred years, and many data.

Again, many ancient Egyptian data, and other data of all the millennia have given a clear message to society - cancer is man-made and it is something we can and must address. "

Researchers recommended a healthy diet, regular physical activity and maintaining a healthy weight. These three choices of life would be able to prevent about a third of the most common cancers known to researchers.
